＜香港＞ 北環線、主線と支線の統合計画始動 2034年までに同時開通へ
港鉄（MTR）と香港政府は7月8日、北環線プロジェクトの第一段階の協定を締結。主線（古洞、凹頭、錦上路など）と支線（皇崗口岸、河套、洲頭など、全長6.2kmのトンネル区間）を一体化して進め、2034年までの同時開通を目指す。
整合はコスト削減と工期短縮が目的で、財政難とは無関係と港鉄は説明。支線は来年に設計提出予定で、中国本土の設計規格や施工ノウハウを活用する構想も。
開通後は「一地両検」制度（中国と香港の出入境手続きを同地で実施）を導入し、交通時間も大幅短縮。例として、錦上路〜古洞間の移動が60〜80分から約12分に短縮される。

＜タイ 1＞ 中高速鉄道プロジェクト、フェーズ1（バンコク～コラート）を推進中
2025年7月7日、タイ運輸省は中国と共同で進める高速鉄道プロジェクト（バンコク〜ナコーンラーチャシーマ／コラート区間）の進捗を報告しました。全土14契約に分割され、うち2件はすでに完成、10件が施工中。契約3‑5区間（コククルア〜コラート、12.38km）は13.35%進捗中で、地上鉄道から高架化への設計変更を政府に提案中。契約3‑4区間（ラームタコン〜シーキウ他、37.45km）は96.8%完了。契約4‑5（バンポー〜プラケーオ）はユネスコ世界遺産の保護議論が終わり、2025年7月に契約締結予定です。
全体で45.6%の進捗率で、当初計画の2032年（タイ暦2572年）開通を目指し、運輸副大臣が施工加速を指令しています。現場では仮設線や回送線の整備を2025年8月までに完了させる計画です。

＜マレーシア＞ 「スクールバス事故」連鎖止める！オペレーター協会加入を義務化へ
マレーシアのスクールバス運行業者・運転手による連合体（Coalition）が、政府に対しスクールバス運送業者の運行許可申請に際し、協会への加入を義務付ける制度を導入するよう要請しました。
・現状：7000台以上のスクールバスが協会未登録で運行。登録はAPAD（公共交通局）によるオンライン申請だけで、経験や運転履歴の確認がない。
・協会加入により安全研修やメンテナンス勉強会が受けられ、登録業者の安全意識向上が期待される 。

<Hong Kong> Northern Link Project: Main and Branch Lines Will Open Together by 2034
On July 8, MTR and the Hong Kong Government signed the first agreement for the Northern Link project. The main line (Kwu Tung, Au Tau, Kam Sheung Road, etc.) and the branch line (Huanggang Port, Heketou, Zutou, etc., a 6.2km tunnel) will be built together and open in 2034.
MTR said the reason is to save money and shorten the schedule, not because of financial problems. The branch line design will be submitted next year, and they may use design rules and building skills from mainland China.
After opening, the “co-location border control” system will be used, so travel time will be shorter. For example, it will only take 12 minutes from Kam Sheung Road to Kwu Tung, down from 60–80 minutes.

The Northern Link is a 10.7km loop line connecting the East Rail Line and Tuen Ma Line.
It will help people travel across the New Territories. Five new stations will be added, and a branch line to Shenzhen will be built.
<Thailand 1> High-Speed Rail Project (Bangkok–Korat) Is Moving Forward
On July 7, 2025, Thailand's Transport Ministry shared progress on the high-speed rail project with China (Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima/Korat). There are 14 contracts total: 2 finished, 10 under construction.
Contract 3‑5 (Khok Kruat to Korat, 12.38km) is 13.35% done. They asked to change the design from ground to elevated rail. Contract 3‑4 (Lam Takhong to Sikhio, 37.45km) is 96.8% done. Contract 4‑5 (Ban Pho to Phra Kaeo) is waiting for a deal in July 2025 after talks about protecting a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Overall progress is 45.6%. The plan is to finish by 2032. The Deputy Minister asked to speed up the work. Temporary and return lines should be ready by August 2025.
